10x12 oil on panel

Truth be told, I am not sure I like this. I think I lost energy. My husband liked it a lot and that is usually a good gauge for me. But sometimes, I know I can do better and its just a matter of my hand catching up with my brain. Given my daily drama, its no wonder I tired easily.

This is from Grand Central Station.

Hi Robin - so sorry to read about your dog's difficulties; it makes for hard times.

I quite like this painting, in part, I think, because of the unusual colors and light of the building. After reading your comments on it I looked some more to see what - if anything - I might change. To me, the focal point seems to be in the center of the group of people, while perhaps it should be on the person buying his ticket? Shifting the focal point would give the painting a very different feeling. But I do like it "as is".....

I like it too. Sometimes it's hard to see or think clearly when your heart is elsewhere, as yours obviously is. Dogs are the best friends ever.

I think it is a wonderful painting. My eye is drawn to the girl in the brown coat, which I find quite pleasing. It looks very fresh and full of action.

Robin,
I cruised over from dp.com to specifically tell you how much I love this painting! I was surprised when you said you weren't sure about it!
I think it's awesome....love the light and the painterly brushstrokes.
Well done!!

I cruised here too from the DP email that came out this morning. Robin, this is so much more than a great painting... you can feel the stories behind every person in the line. Are you selling this one??

FABULOUS!! Prayers for your baby...my heart hurts reading about your dog.

Hellow Robin...Love this painting and it brings back lots of memories from my old home town. I don't miss the craziness, but there's something in the air in New York that can't be matched by any other city and I feel it when I look at your recent work.

Nice painting. I particularly like the light reflecting on the floor.
