Wedding Reception - The Parador, Houston

I made good progress on this one I think. I do not have much touch up to do in the studio. Though my start was slow! The Parador was a lovely venue. The gardens were particularly nice. Inside, once the band got going, and the guests filtered in for dinner, I got into the swing of things.
Its such a neat experience. Its kind of terrifying as well. lol

I think these live action paintings of yours are absolutely astonishing, Robin. Have just had a re-read of your September 14 post outlining how you do it. I've never heard of anyone else doing this, and have been wondering if you have ever given workshops on live action painting? Being a watercolourist with very little figure drawing ability, I wouldn't think of trying it myself, but there must be some painters who would love to learn from your wonderful (and sometimes terrifying)experience.)

Everytime I see one of these it makes me want to get married all over again ... just so you can paint my wedding reception! So wonderful!

Wow - I love it and I cannot imagine how fun, challenging and terrifying that painting was to do. Amazing.
