Birds Eye

8x8 cradled panels each
sold

This set is probably arriving at Edward Montgomery Gallery in Carmel today, but is already spoken for we believe. I'll post otherwise if they are still available.

I'm in Jackson hole right now and this is likely the last Internet service I will have. It will be good to be "unplugged" for a bit.
This incredible landscape is just stunning! I want to move here. I don't think any words or pictures can do it justice. I'm walking around town continually staring upward at the mountains and tripping all over. Does anyone get used to this scenery?

Today we will get to visit a few local galleries and then head to Yellowstone.

You must try The Jackson Hole Roaster's Coffee House. It's good coffee and there is The Bunnery which is a bakery that is to die for. It is beautiful there.

Your paintings are wonderful...love the whole set!

RObin, these are brilliant! So simple and beautiful, with such a great perspective. LOVE them!
Have a wonderful time in Yellowstone. No, I don't think one ever becomes insensitive to the views. But they do gradually learn to walk while looking up, and not tripping. :)

Love these paintings! The bird's eye view is so interesting. I really like how the person and shadow is the focal point of each painting, and the street is just a blur. Very nice!

I've been reading your blog, enjoying your painting style very much, and finally decided to say so. I love the way you paint figures, and this series, looking down on walking people, especially appeals to me,maybe the repetition and variation. Thank you for generously sharing your art.
