Time To Boogie

11x14 oil on panel

This painting will be available at Castle Gallery around July 18th.

I am pretty pleased with this. I don't have much more to say about it than that. It was a great deal of fun to create.

Hi Robin - I haven't commented in awhile even though I enjoy seeing all your paintings - but these last two I just couldn't let go by - they are just wonderful - fresh, evocative, great color and composition. Just a pleasure to see!

Very nice painterly style with great lighting that evokes a strong sense of place.

Hi Robin,

I like the composition and the placement of the waves on this one.

Robin, Steven Spielberg ruined going into the surf for me, back in 1975, when he released "Jaws." Thanks to you, I can re-live those care-free moments pushing a surf-mat into the waves at Ocean City, Maryland before nervously watching for the telltale dorsal fin. You've really captured the feeling of a day at the beach. Nice brushwork, too, BTW.
