I did a similar scene to this last fall. But its such a perfect setting to paint again. And its pretty different from my earlier interpretation (see Oct.). The couple is sitting outside Jo's Coffee shop on Second Street in Austin.
yes, these last two are very VERY nice! I love your style. The blurb on clayboard/gessoboard was interesting. I used to paint on both, and was convinced for a very long time that I preferred them. Then I just started to adapt to the canvas board. But there sometimes feels like something's missing. Maybe I'll give it a try again. I remember how much it felt like doing a watercolor.
